Our town is currently undergoing a revision of the Planned Unit Development (PUD) law, which will help to shape the future growth and development of our beloved home. However, we as residents have not been given an opportunity to voice our opinions, have our questions answered, or contribute to this significant process.
In other communities across America where public forums have been implemented for similar processes, there has been increased satisfaction among residents with their local government’s decisions. This shows that public participation can lead to better outcomes for everyone involved.
Therefore, we urge our Town officials to establish a public forum where residents can contribute their ideas and concerns about the PUD revision. It’s time for us as community members to take an active role in shaping our town’s future.
