Connecting residents across the Town of Liberty on the key issues that concern them.

We are a group of local residents in the Town of Liberty, NY, who have come together to care for the rural landscape and natural resources of our communities and advocate for an economic revival based around sustainable development and responsible recreation.
We work with local and state officials and other community groups to monitor residential and commercial developments that may affect the Town of Liberty; engage in actions designed to avoid or mitigate any negative impacts; and encourage investment and development that respects the rural character of the area and protects clean, air, clean water, forests and wildlife.
We do this by researching the changing ecology and environment of the Town of Liberty and its rich resources; maintaining a close dialogue with the Town Board, Planning Board, Zoning Board and Building Department over projects and proposals that may affect the community; sharing information with local residents about what is happening; and engaging in joint action to protect our rural heritage.
We offer a warm welcome to all residents of the Town of Liberty who share our goals and want to protect the natural resources, environmental health and rural character of the community in which we live. As an all-volunteer group there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in research and analysis, organizing and outreach, attending Town meetings, and many other tasks.
